GPIB DRIVERS and INSTALLATION PROGRAMS

This page contains the GPIB Driver Installation Programs for ICS's GPIB Controllers. Do not use these programs with GPIB Interfaces or with another company's GPIB Controllers!

Use the Table below to select the appropriate Driver for your GPIB Controller. Always follow the detailed instructions in your GPIB Controller's Instruction Manual. For the 8065 go to the VXI-11 Support page. The 4895 does not have a driver; use the M95_kybd program to test the Model 4895.

Note: All 488-USB and 1105 users should upgrade to the 488.2V3 Driver for increased stability and improved performance.

488.2V3 Driver for Windows 2K/2003 Server/XP and Vista(32)

ICS's 488.2V3 Driver Library is a multi-controller capable driver that supports ICS's 488-USB, 488-USB2, 488-LPCI, 488-PXI, and 1105 Controllers. The installation includes ICS's Explorer, GPIBkybd, and Configure programs, example programs and Visual Basic 6 runtime files. The 488.2V3 Driver supports LabVIEW, VEE, VB6, VB.NET, C, C++, C# and Delphi 2007 programs. Click on the link below to start your download.

PC file ICS_488.2V3_Install is a zip file with the latest 488.2V3 Drivers for Windows 2K/XPServer 2003 and Vista(32-bit) operating systems. The installer version is 3.2.9 dated 08-01-2008. Driver changes are listed in the 488.2V3 Change History Report.

Download and install Microsoft's .NET Framework version 2.0 to take maximum advantage of ICS's 488.2V3 Driver.

Users who want a minimum install for production machines may download and install the minimum driver file, ICS_488.2V3_Min_Install.zip. Download the Minimum Install Addendum for more information about the 488.2V3_Minimum_Installer.
Visual Basic programs will need Microsoft's VB6_Runtime_Files to run if you do not have Visual Basic on your computer. Click the link to download and install the VB6_Runtime_Files.
