LAN (Ethernet / VXI-11) to GPIB GATEWAY

ICS's LAN to GPIB Gateway (or Ethernet to GPIB Controller) does not require any drivers and is compatible with the following systems:

LINUX, UNIX, SunOS, MAC OS X, HP-UX, IBM-AIX and Windows 2K or later Windows systems.

ICS's LAN GPIB Gateway uses RPC and the VXI-11 protocol for secure communication with virtually any computer. Download our new VXI-11 Tutorial or a copy of the VXI-11 Specification for more information about the VXI-11 Standard.

Model 8065 is an LAN to GPIB Gateway The Model 8065 is an LAN to GPIB Gateway that controls the GPIB bus from your PC's Ethernet port, over the company network or over the internet. The 8065 is fully VXI-11 compatible* so you can use RPC calls or Java to run the 8065 from Linux, UNIX, Sun-OS, Apple OS X and all UNIX like systems without special drivers. In a Windows PC, make program calls to a VISA library to control the 8065. Includes ICS's VXI-11 Keyboard Program for controlling instruments without writing a program.
