Model VXI-5539A Serial Module. VXI to Serial Module provides four or eight asynchronous RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 VXI serial channels. Module uses VXI Fast Data Channels to transfer the TX and RX data to and from the Slot 0 Controller. The Fast Data Channel buffers enable the VXI-5539A to maintain continuous high-speed data transfer without tying up the VXIbus backplane and the Slot 0 Controller.
