Use with ICS 488-LPCI, 488-USB2, and 488-PXI GPIB Controllers

There is some overlap between the 488.2V4 Driver and the older 488.2V3 Driver on Windows XP and Vista operating systems. The 488.2V4 Driver is recommended for new installations and all Windows 7 installations.

488.2V3 users on Vista (32bit) and XP (32bit)who are not experiencing problems do not have to upgrade to the 488.2V4 Driver.

CAUTION: Do not use these drivers in systems with other companies' GPIB Controllers! It will over-write their GPIB-32.DLL.

ICS's 488.2V4 Driver Library is a multi-controller capable driver that supports ICS's 488-USB2, 488-LPCI, and 488-PXI GPIB Controllers. The installation includes 32-bit and 64-bit versions of ICS's Explorer and VISAkybd programs, example programs, DLLs and runtime files.
