Programs for ICS's 80xx series Products.
General Instructions
Download the desired file into a temporary directory and extract the files.
Follow the directions in the extracted Readme file to install the programs
in your computer or click on the extracted installation program EXE
file. Check our FAQ Application Note, AB80-1,
for solutions to common problems with the Ethernet Controllers and
for installation issues. Use the message
form to email any questions about these programs
to our support engineers.
ICS's 80xx Series products are VXI-11 compliant and use the VXI-11 communication protocol. Copies of the VXI-11 Specification can be downloaded from our VXI
Specifications page. |
Notice
Users upgrading 80xx firmware should uninstall and reinstall
the VXI-11 support files as well as upgrading their 80xx product. This
will ensure that you are using the latest VXI-11.dll. |
ICS_VXI-11_Install.zip is
a zip file with the support utility files for ICS's 80xx series VXI-11
products. The support files include: the VXI-11 Configuration utility,
Errorlog utility, VXI-11 Keyboard, example programs and the latest documentation.
The program version is 00.02.09.00 dated 08-19-2009. File size

ICS_8013_Update.zip is
a zip file with revision 00.04 update dated 06-01-2009 for ICS's 8013
Ethernet-to-Digital Interface Card. This change fixes a problem that
hangs up TekVISA.

a zip file with revision 01.20 update dated 08-18-2009 for ICS's 8055
Ethernet-to-GPIB Controller. This update fixes a flash restore problem
and is manditory for all units with 01.18 or 01.19 revision firmware.

ICS_8063_Update.zip is
a zip file with revision 00.05 update dated 08-18-2009 for ICS's 8063
Ethernet-to-Digital Interface. This change fixes a pause problem with
reverse channel Service Request messages.

a zip file with revision 00.02 update dated 04-21-2009 for ICS's 8064
Ethernet-to-Relay Interface. This change fixes a problem with
reverse channel Service Request messages.

ICS_8065_Update.zip is
a zip file with firmware revision 20 update dated 08-18-2009 for
ICS's 8065 Ethernet-to-GPIB Controller. This update updates the 8065
firmware for the latest revision PC board. See the 8065
Change History file for more details.
Note - Units with serial numbers 805xxx thru 810xxx and
Revisions 00.14 thru 00.17 require updating to prevent occassional data
read errors. These units also need a hardware
update. Contact your distributor or ICS for instructions on updating
the 8065's hardware.
